Isadora 3 Perpetual Licenses

How do I upgrade my Isadora 3 Perpetual License?

To upgrade your Isadora 3 Perpetual License, you must use our License Portal, not the store. Here's how:

  1. Log in to the License Portal.
     (Login details were sent in an email after your first order since Isadora 3's release).
  2. Select the "Licenses & Activations" tab.
  3. Click on the Isadora 3 Perpetual License you want to upgrade.
  4. Under "Additional Information", click "UPGRADES".
  5. In the Upgrades tab, you’ll see "Quantity: #" showing the number of seats on your license.
  6. "Seats to upgrade" defaults to the full amount. You can reduce this number to upgrade only some seats, but upgrading the rest later will create a second Isadora 4 Perpetual License ID.
  7. Click "ADD UPGRADE TO THIS LICENSE".
  8. If you have a discount code, type it into the proper field and then click the apply button.
  9. Complete your purchase.
  10. You'll receive an email with license activation information, and you'll be able to see your new Isadora 4 Perpetual License in the License Portal.

  11. When you launch Isadora 4, if an Isadora 3 Perpetual License is active on that computer, a dialog will prompt you to deactivate it before activating your Isadora 4 Perpetual License.

    • You can use Isadora 4 to deactivate the Isadora 3 license and activate the Isadora 4 license.

    • Once activated, your Isadora 4 Perpetual License will work for both Isadora 3 and 4 on that computer.

    • Your Isadora 3 License will continue to work with Isadora 3 if you wish to use it on another computer.

Note: Isadora 4 Perpetual Licenses include two years of free updates and will work forever with any version of Isadora released before or during this support period. This support period can be extended by purchasing a year of updates.

Can I upgrade only some of the seats on my Isadora 3 Perpetual License?

Yes. In the Upgrades tab on the License Portal, the "Quantity" displayed for each license shows the number of seats it has. Just choose a lower number for "Seats to upgrade".

How do I upgrade the rest of my Isadora 3 Perpetual License's seats?

After upgrading some seats, the license is marked as upgraded and won't appear in the License Portal's Upgrades tab. To upgrade the remaining seats on an Isadora 3 Perpetual License, contact us with the License ID, and we'll manually enable upgrades for that license.


Isadora 3 USB Key Licenses

How do I upgrade my Isadora 3 USB Key License?

  1. Go to this link.
  2. In the "Upgrades" section, add one "Isadora 3 to 4 USB" product to your cart for each seat on your Isadora 3 USB Key License.
  3. Fill in the fields for:
    1. License Name
    2. Serial Number
    3. Email Address
    4. New Email Address
  4. If you have a discount code, type it into the proper field and then click the apply button.
  5. Complete your purchase.
  6. We need to process your order manually. Within one business day, or up to two business days for orders placed on weekends and holidays, we will send you a registration code that will allow your existing USB key to function with Isadora 4.

Note: Your six-line registration code for Isadora 3 will continue to work with Isadora 3, but your Isadora 4 License ID can only be used with Isadora 4.

Note: Isadora 4 USB Key Licenses include two years of free updates and will work forever with any USB version of Isadora released before or during this support period. This support period can be extended by purchasing a year of updates.

Can I upgrade only some of the seats on my Isadora 3 USB Key License?

No. It is not possible to upgrade only some of the seats on multi-seat Isadora 3 USB Key Licenses; you must upgrade all the seats at the same time.
